Due to the latest guidelines of our government concerning the Coronavirus, the Planetarium had to decide to close the doors until 28 April.

The Planetarium is largely wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator to the 1st floor.
The planetarium’s radar can only be reached via a steep staircase, but there is a monitor with images of the radar on the ground floor. The Planetarium has a disabled-friendly toilet.
Adults, € 5.50
Children up to 3 years, free of charge
Children between 4 and 13 and CJP, € 4.50
Groups of more than 20 persons, € 4.25 pp
Educational rate for schools, € 3.75 per student, 1 supervisor free of charge per 4 students
The Museum Card is not valid at the Eisinga Planetarium
A visit to the Planetarium can be combined with a visit to the nearby Museum Martena or the Kaatsmuseum. The following combination rates apply*:
Combination adult ticket, € 8.50
Combination child ticket, € 6.00
* The Planetarium and the museum do not need to be visited the same day: the ticket remains valid for one year.
Are there more than 20 people in your group? You will receive a discount and only pay € 4.25 pp. We would however appreciate it if you could inform us in advance.
Franeker is a parking-friendly city. The city is divided into several zones. The area for free parking is within walking distance of the planetarium. More information and a map can be found here.
